Kick Your Marketing To The Next Level

Video marketing has the ability to grab attention and to help you establish authority in ways that no other form of marketing can approach; so it’s absolutely vital that you start leveraging this type of marketing in your strategy as soon as possible. In fact, video marketing is so powerful that it could very well be all that you need in order to get word out about your business.

Recent studies indicate that more than half( 57%) of people have watched at the least one video online at some phase in “peoples lives”, while nearly one-fifth of people( 19%) say they watch videos online every day. These numbers are rapidly growing as more people are using the Internet and social media every day.

As much as society loves the television, computers are gradually taking over. If you have a newer model television, all it takes is a USB cable to connect your Tv to your computer. With a variety of online services and streaming websites out there, you can watch anything you want online, whether it’s your favorite show, new movies, or your local news cast.

Recent analysis also projects that more than half of people who watch a video and consider it “good” will end up sharing the video with their friends via social media or email. This is an example of how online videos can go viral.

As the Internet has advanced, audio and video files are replacing text and graphics. This extremely powerful medium is something many marketers can use to send their online business from the bottom to the top.

YouTube is simply put one of the most underutilized platforms on the web when it comes to digital marketing. Not merely is YouTube the second biggest search engine on the entire internet but it’s also the best place to engage in video marketing- which just so happens to be an unbelievably powerful tool for persuading audiences and generating clicks and conversions.

Just think about the impact that video has on you in your own life. Whenever we try and engage in a dialogue with a Tv in the room, most of us can’t help but stare at it. And when we start watching a random documentary at 1am in the morning, all too often we’ll end up remaining up all night to watch it to the end.

With written content, we digital marketers are often fighting a losing battle to try and hold the attention of audiences who are over saturated with marketing messages, adverts and other media vying for their attention. With video on the other hand, it’s the user who struggles to look away. This gives you a fantastic opportunity to deliver a powerful message that will help you to build your brand and increase your following.

What’s more, YouTube also offers many of the advantages of social media marketing- it gives you a way to build a following that you can market to in future and it allows you to leverage your connections through influencer marketing and other strategies. But unlike Facebook or Twitter where there’s a large element of luck involved, success on YouTube is all about having something interested to say and a unique way to deliver that phase. If you have something unique and interesting and you know how to package it, YouTube can deliver you nearly assured success.

The only downside? YouTube success involves a little more work than some of the other strategies you might have tried in the past. Like creating and editing videos. Fear not, video editing is not hard. If you want to kick to pick up these skills fast, then check out Screen Profits by Jeff Caravantes. He goes through everything you need to know about editing your videos (including the best software to use).

As long as you are willing to execute the steps herein, you will be able to build a huge following and influence them as with no other strategy.

Great post on the advantages of videos, Shreya, and I loved your vlog section in your product, taught me a lot. I didn’t really use video before but have tried your suggestions and am finding I like it almost more than writing! Just wanted to point out that your post is on two different fonts and font sizes, makes it a little hard to read when the type gets very small at the bottom. The top paragraph is different too.

    Enjoy the journey!
